This morning I taught my daughter how to make a snow angel. I could tell she was pretty uncertain about the whole laying in the snow concept, she probably thought her mommy was going crazy, letting her get cold and wet like that. But, as usual, she followed along and seemed to have a good time exploring the snow.
I love exploring new wonders with my little girl. Everything that has become old and mundane to me is new and exciting in her eyes. While I tend to be a pessimist, little kids are eternal opptimists, always seeming to find the wonder in a sittuation.
And so, I'll take a clue from my little girl, and, instead of focusing on icy roads that keep me at home, I'll thank God for wet mittens, hot cocoa and snow angels with a little girl :)
